Re: XGS/32 v1.5 Released

Sure Jeff. But it appears you have a heck of a lot more electrical
outlets in your room than I do. Or at least you have a massively string
of daisy-chained power pads that will give your local fire marshall
sleepless nights if he knew about it! ;)

More on nostalgia--it's funny how I think so fondly of my IIe and IIgs,
and will not think of giving them up, while I could careless about the
old 486 and Pentium in my closet (in fact, I'd be happy to give them
away but I can't find anyone who will take them.) I never was exposed
to C64/Amiga/Atari ST during the 80's, so now it's fun to see how the
others lived during the Golden Age of Computing. While I would never
admit to this back then, certain games are better on "those" machines
than on the IIe/gs.

I finally managed to play Sword of Sodan--this was the much hyped game
that was never finished/released for the GS, even though the gorgeous
demo had everyone drooling (but I must say Task Force GS more than made
up for it!) Anyway, played SoS on the Amiga, and it was actually pretty
disappointing! So much for reality.

Regards,

Jimmy
