Well, I took Electronics Technology in college (3 year course on how
to design electronic devices) but I missed a couple credits and as
there were no job prospects in that field around here, I didn't try
very hard to make them up so I never got my diploma. I'm hoping to
talk to the college sometime this year and see about getting my
diploma finally.

At any rate, designing a computer isn't all that difficult but it
require some special equipment and can be quite time consuming. Not
to mention that making multiple layer printed circuit boards can be a
problem but it is certainly doable.

It would even be possible to take a Pentium or some other machine and
write boot code that would load in the 65816 emulator core and then
boot GS/OS just like a IIgs. Mind you, this is an extreme
oversimplification of the process as there are lots of other things to
deal with. :-)

I have lots of ideas but I'm still not in a position monetarily or
time wise to start working on something this big.
