Re: GBBS Question

I am thinking that it is waiting for a RING, but I cannot get the system to
send anything across the null modem link to my PC. I had expected to see it
send the text that would normall go to a modem on my PC screen. Thus the
question. Boy I just wish I could get it to work. Once I know the
connection is occuring, I can send all the codes that a modem would normall
perfrom. I have already written the Ethernet to Serial to spit out a
internet connection (from my cable modem) to the serial port on the PC. Now
I just need to fool GBBS into thinking that my PC is the modem. As I
mentioned before, I am confused because I have to pick a interface card and
then when I choose the modem, the Apple IIgs serial interface comes up in
the modem lists. Confused! :-)
