The memory requirements for 6.0.1 are exactly the same as 6.0, though I
expect you will have a few kilobytes less free memory due to more
patches being loaded.
Note that you will only be able to load a reasonably simple system with
the minimum RAM. You should have more than the minimum if you want to
start adding extra drivers, file systems, etc. In any case, you can't
fit very much onto a standard 800K system disk - you really need a hard
drive to be able to get the most benefit from System 6.0 or 6.0.1.

Why not? Insufficient memory, unable to get a good copy of the disks,
or some other reason?
