Good news! It looks as if turning DMA off on the Apple Hi-Speed
SCSI has solved my problems with my hard drive. From my
experience it appears that the Sirius GS RAM card is not DMA
compatible in my hands with my system configuration!!! This is
in contradiction to what Alltech advertises. But, I now have
everything working well for the first time in many months.
Thanks to all for the helpful suggestions and guideance!! It
just goes to show that comp.sys.apple2 still can be a productive
forum!
Paul.
