Strange IIgs Behavior

Okay, maybe this is a common thing, but its really strange...

Occasionally, when in the Finder, I'll open a window and it will appear
blank for a moment, and then fill up with multi-color dots. The dots
change a few times, in waves, and then the machine becomes unstable.
Usually crashes to the monitor.

Sometimes this is accompanied by missing icons, or in windows with list
views, large icons are displayed overlapping each other.

I was hoping GUPP would fix the problem. I was hoping that it wasn't my
System, but it still happens. Here I am...

ROM 03
System 6.0.1
very few inits, AppleShare, LotsaTools, Twighlight II, a few others.
5mb RAM on a GS Sauce

Slots:
1: Quickie card
2:
3: Transwarp GS with 1.5 roms, 6.025mhz and 8k cache
4:
5:
6:
7: Apple High Speed SCSI

Q-Drive 40mb ( a little grey one)
Tulin Floptical
Apple 800k drive
AE 800k drive
Apple 5.25 drive
Global Village Bronze (2400) on the modem port, with ADB power tap.
PhoneNET on the Printer port, connected to Macs.

A kind of boring IIgs! :-)

The System never really gets more then a bit warm, as there is a fan on
the power supply and another fan over three of the knockout plugs on the
back, sucking air out of the case.

I don't use anything unusuall by way of software. The problem usually
manifests itself when re-entering the Finder, in windows that were left
open. Most of the time it happens with the Icons folder on my boot
volume, an 8mb partition.

Any ideas? UniMaster didnt see anything, and I tried trashing the desktop
files.
