Let me try to jump in here as a newby from the Netherlands :-)
Last Saturday I bought a second hand Second Sight Card and I have kind of
flickering on my monitor. Because I don't have a SVGA monitor, I still use
the RGB one, which is fine enough for the time being.
When in text mode, like proterm or Futurevision BBS, the screen flickers here
and there now & then.
And when I lift up the cover of the IIgs, the green LED of the Zip in my
IIgs flickers periodically, but that doesn't lead to a flickering screen.
This is a result of the IIgs checking it's 3.5" diskdrives every now and then
to see if there's a new disk inserted...
And... I've got the cable mounted to the back of the IIgs, finding it's way
through the IIgs via the Quickie & HS Scsi card... no problems so far...
Kind regards,
