The problem with First Class on the Mac is that its VT100 is
not the greatest. While FC is probably the coolest and most
useful BBS/e-mail/conferencing system I have ever seen, it
uses a special client software only available for Mac or
Windows (what else is new). It does support VT100 logins (if the
sysop chooses to get that feature) but it isn't the greatest.
But nightmare is too strong a word. I used to access a FC BBS
from AppleWorks GS (talk about nightmares) and could get my mail,
upload and download, and that's enough for me. ProTerm is immeas-
urably better than AWGS, so probably not to worry.
