Okay, if I understand correctly, I need linear flash to expand the
memory inside the eMate, right? I've seen a site that sells one of
those memory upgrade cards, but the darned thing costs $105 by itself,
so that would ruin my plan to keep the price of this thing under $100
or so.
I like the idea of being able to use the PC card slot as a memory
storage device, but I was hoping to use that slot for a wifi card, so I
can get it on the internet. Then again, the best I'd be able to hope
for with the eMate is text only web use, so maybe I'd be better off
with the extra memory. Definitely interested in hearing more about the
driver that would let me use a PC card adapted compact flash.
