I like the idea of being able to use the PC card slot as a memory
storage device, but I was hoping to use that slot for a wifi card, so I
can get it on the internet. Then again, the best I'd be able to hope
for with the eMate is text only web use, so maybe I'd be better off
with the extra memory. Definitely interested in hearing more about the
driver that would let me use a PC card adapted compact flash.

I don't think you're going to need more than 1MB for the emulator.
The emulator can "page in" chunks of "Apple II" memory as needed.

If you put a big flash memory card in the PC Card slot, it will
also provide you with a "hard disk" for Apple programs.
