i'll try to get a pic someplace..essentially it is what bill g. is making
now with wire and switch
with both old and new ROMs on 1 chip...the eprom on a switch from old video
ROM to new
mousetext version switchable...

the mousetrap //e i have ...is gonna be hard to tell...i THINK it is exactly
the same as what
bill g. is doing...but my commercial (kinda/sorta) product looks like a
solid plastic black lego
block (think 2001 a space odessy) with a wire and radio shack micro toggle
switch at the end of it)
the chip it self looks like (before it had this case put around it) put into
a standard removeable
DIP solid pin arrangement for ease of taking in and out (kinda like the
clockchip end on a //e ver)

but because it is essentially encased (which means it is prob impossible to
break a pin out of it inside where switch
wire is attached..
or for the wires soldered to the eprom legs to move etc etc) it looks
essentially indestructable..actually
if bill g. were to make a mess of these comercially it looks like a good
idea...make the eprom fix
add wires w/switch end...transport back to the old High School Plastics shop
class...and then pour
Clear acrylic fast setting plastic into mold for such purpose with
everything in place...viola..indestructable...
take it out of the apple //e occasionally drag it around the floor for the
cat to chase and pound on it...ut it back in...
just another chunk of solid plastic...

mine is black ..would look pretty cool as a clear little transparent block
plug'd into your //e with a
switch...(very mysterious...)

and of course be tough to break...(prob easy to melt however)

i'm still slowly going thru stuff..i prob have other gizmo's i've forgotten
about...i'll keep digging...
