I've done plenty of C, C++, C# in the last 10 years - just no 6502
assembler. ;-)

Yep, I have used Teleworks Plus running under GS/OS and Hyperterm on
the WinXP machine. I can communicate OK, however, I think I only have
success doing Xmodem with CRC file transfers. All the other protocols
(YModem, etc) don't work - not sure if this is normal. I remember back
in the old BBS days all sorts of protocol variants, so I'm guessing
thats the issue here?

I've got the mini-din 8 male to DB25 male cable and then done some
funky wiring between my PC motherboard header and the DB25 female
socket (at the back of my PC) to perform the "null
modemisation". ;-) But as I said before, I'm *pretty* confident
that what I have now is correct (at least per the A2 FAQ). And it is
strange that transfer was successful using an older version of ADT -
this would seem to indicate that my cable is OK would it not?
