I agree that you need the complete set. I just have a hard time
defining what a complete set is. I keep thinking I am close to having
everything, but then I find out there is more to get.

I now have a least one of each of the following:
Apple II+
Apple //e unenhanced
Apple //e enhanced
Apple //e platinum
Apple //c
Apple //c+
Apple IIgs ROM1
Apple IIgs ROM3

If I could find an original Apple II for a reasonable price, I would
have a complete set. Or would I?

I guess there is also the Bell & Howell II+. And I don't have a IIgs
with the Woz case. Oh, and what about a //e->IIgs upgrade. Not to
mention various international versions. I am sure I have missed a
few.

Well, I am pretty happy with what I have. I spend the most time with
my II+. It is the machine I used the most when it was new. The ROM3
I also use a fair amount. The others are rarely turned on. But it
feels good knowing they are there.

I still have my first Apple II+ that I bought when I was in high
school in 1980. Unfortunately it isn't in working order right now.
Some day I want to fix it. I have a spare motherboard that I can use
for parts, but I haven't been able to find much technical information
to know where to start. It is one of those projects that I have been
thinking about doing for years now...

Ok, I will stop my rambling.
