I thought about this more, and if you have a Mac CD
in there and no HFS.FST installed then it can't read it.
It is. I saw it in one of the system folders (can't remember which one
off the top of my head), along with MS-DOS.FST and a couple others.

: That would be appreciated - I can't find it.

I'm a member. I will ask the operator where it is.
Thanks

If you do decide to reinstall, start from a fresh partition.
Copy off all of the files that aren't GS/OS related and format
it. Then run the Installer and tell it to install a full system
to hard drive, choose that partition (volume) and click install.
Swap in disks as needed, and you don't have to hit keys, they
will be recognized.
I'll be doing that this weekend, then. Is there a way to tell which
files are "GS/OS related"? (Other than the ones in the System folders,
anyway).

I'll get it out now, please send me an email with an
address I can reply to, I.E., not munged. Thanks.
Done.
