Thanks for the specs. I'm going to assume that the specs for whatever
card you used in 1998 are the same for this newer card.

I did my last set of SIMM swaps to determine the faulty SIMM, and then
I tracked down a copy of Bitbanger and let it do its thing. Wouldn't
you know it -- neither test shows any bad RAM any more. Sigh. But
good. And I can now copy tons of files between folders again.

At any rate, if you could officially comment on what sort of SIMMs are
best (to confirm David's comments, above), and if you could officially
state what SIMM socket is what bank of RAM, that would help my
troubleshoot this stuff in the future. I'll probably start trolling
for SIMMS "just in case" once you confirm the type of parts needed.
